Electrical & plumbing prices in Edinburgh
For scheduled works and maintenance services we operate during the core hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday (excluding Bank Holidays) and 8am to 15:00pm on Friday.
We provide electrical, heating and plumbing services in EH postcodes only, from EH1-EH30 plus EH95 & EH99. For all other EH postcode areas an additional 30% will be charged.

Plumber, Heating & Electrical Engineers Pricing – Scheduled
First 30 minutes:
£80.00 + VAT (£96)
+ Materials (where applicable)
+ Parking (if any)
Thereafter
Each subsequent 30 minutes: £40.00 + VAT (includes travel time and time to obtain materials, if required)
Please note: our quoted labour rate is charged per plumber or heating engineer.
Commercial Plumbing and heating prices
First 30 minutes:
£100.00 + VAT
+ Materials (where applicable)
+ Parking (if any)
Thereafter
Thereafter each subsequent 30 mins £50.00+VAT or part thereof
Please note: our quoted labour rate is charged per plumber or heating engineer.
Out Of Hours Emergency Make Safe Service
5:00pm to 10:00pm – Monday to Thursday; 3:00pm to 10:00pm – Friday; and 8:00am to 10:00pm Saturday and Sunday
Plumbing, Heating and Gas Engineers (No electricians)
Call out £200.00 +VAT plus 1st 15 minutes on site £50.00+VAT = £300.00 inc VAT

Thereafter
The rate for each subsequent 15 minutes will be £50.00+VAT.
Please note: our quoted labour rate is charged per engineer. All travelling time involved to do the job, obtain materials etc will also be charged at this rate.
Terms for emergency plumbing call outs
For all plumbing emergencies, please call us immediately on 0131 444 2200. Please note that:
1. All engineers visits are chargeable at standard rates, even if no works are carried out
2. ‘Out of hours’ is defined as 5:00pm to 10:00pm – Monday to Thursday; 3:00pm to 10:00pm – Friday; and 8:00am to 10:00pm Saturday and Sunday .
3. All rates are subject to the addition of VAT, Materials, Plant, Rubbish Disposal and Parking (where applicable)
4. P Blackhall Ltd provides emergency heating and plumbing services in the Edinburgh postcodes EH1-EH30 plus EH95 and EH99 only. We do not cover areas outside of these postcodes
